Scout Backpack cake for SJIJ Scout Investiture 2015

I am a Scout mum and this was my 3rd year contributing a cake for SJIJ Scout Investiture event. 
This year, my son suggested a 3D sculpted backpack cake and I took the challenge.

The cake was carved entirely out of cake and the size was about 20cm wide, 30cm height.(which is equivalent to a height of 3 tier cake)
The main challenge of this cake was to maintain a stable support with such a tall and slim structure cake.

 

I was not breathing until this cake survived the transportation and cake cutting ceremony.

Cake cutting ceremony officiated by Mr Antong Shahruddin(Asst Chief Commissioner of South District) and Mr Timothy Goh( Principal of SJIJ)

 

Cake flavour was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling.
