TOGETHER WE make a FAMILY Cupcakes

This was done for sweet Gladys, who was looking to get her dad a set of cupcakes for his 67th Birthday.

Design inspiration was from her description of her dad :
" He is a family man, everything family first..."
" He loves to watch boxing matches and he used to be a sailor"
"My dad's hobby is us! Haha"

A set of family faces cupcake ensemble to signify"TOGETHER WE make a FAMILY" theme.

Like FATHER like SON Birthday Cake

This was done for sweet Cheryl, the bride whom I designed the gown for few years ago.
She was looking to get her husband and son a cake to celebrate their birthday which was few days apart.

Her son, Nigel's favourite are elephant, train and car.  Whereas her husband, Nelson is a big fan of Liverpool so we decided to incorporate the elements into the cake design.

Cake flavour was tender and moist chocolate cake with chocolate ganache with Valrhona crunchy pearls.

"THE BIRTHDAY CHRONICLE" for James Chan

This cake is for Uncle James 86th Birthday(eldest brother of my father-in-law)
Uncle James used to be a reporter in 1950's and we thought that a newspaper Birthday Chronicle cake is very suitable for this special occasion.

Today’s cake might just be the simplest cake I’ve ever decorated.  While I love the challenge of creating a complex design with lots of intricate details.  But sometimes it is good to keep it simple and meaningful.  This is a very meaningful project with the joint effort of my niece Beverly, my sister-in-law, Tina and me.
Tina came up with the copy writing of Uncle James'  milestones, accomplishments over the years, Beverly did the artwork layout, I baked and decorated the cake.

Cake flavour was Uncle James favourite D24 Durian cake.

Happy Easter Bunny Cake

A simple and yet fun bunny cake for our family Easter lunch.

Cake flavour was carrot cake.  This cake has excellent spice flavours, paired with a moist crumbs, sweet pineapple, golden raisins and crunchy walnut. No sugar is added to the white chocolate cream cheese filling, this filling taste so good that it literally melt in your mouth.

My favourite is the carrot shape macaron decorated around the cake.

Happy Easter!!!
